I’m really happy you said this about accepting yourself as someone who likes change. I throw everything up in the air often too... I still find myself apologising for that or feeling guilty that others see me as ‘flitty’.

I’m an enneagram 7 (took me a long time to figure that out as I am more introverted and less adventurous than the ‘typical’ 7) and finding that out has really helped me accept these parts of myself.

I know, why do we feel so guilty when the people who are stuck in a rut get to look so sussed? 😉

Yes I second Siddhisvari’s view on your new studio space - gorgeous. Looking forward to what emerges from this next throwing things up in the air and seeing where they land. X

Hey Vajradarshini - love your studio, it looks like a real bliss station for your creative work, as Austin Kleon would say :0). I was at an open weekend at an arts studio in Sheffield today. A few people from the Sheffield sangha have studios there. One of them is a writer and I LOVE that she has a studio (not an office)! So much more inspiring. Office = admin to me. Yeurgh.

Good to know of your changes too, thank you. And yay, I'm even more glad I was able to subscribe again earlier this week. after reading about your plans. I like that you shake things up and that you make no apology for it. That seems to me to be 'living as art'!

Here's what I wanted to say when I took out the subscription again, but there wasn't enough space :0) ...

I subscribed as a paid member earlier this year because I love your take on the dharma, combined with living a creative life and contemporary culture (THAT Frankie GTH article! 😁). I then stopped all my paid subscriptions when my job contract came to an end. And I’m currently taking a sabbatical (AKA choosing to be unemployed for while, scary but BRILLIANT) to focus on my writing and dharma practice/s. But I am missing you and your words! And have decided that doing/supporting things that are creatively or dharmically nourishing are an investment, and therefore I can prioritise them, and just trust that work will come again. And your work is right in that sweet spot for me! Dharma/creative life/humour/a queer take on life/beautiful images/lovely tools - oh wow and also sewing/mending too, yesssss what a mix! Thank you for what you do. I love it 🙏🥰

What a heart-warming comment Joy, you live upto your name 😁 Good to have you back here and I hope the newsletter supports you in all your own creative dharmic projects. It's really brave of you to take a sabbatical and focus on the things that are most important. No body reaches the end of their lives wishing they'd worked more!

Haha, perhaps I have to repost the frankie goes to hollywood post for all the people that have signed up since then? 😂
