Still laughing at Karin carrying on with the folded socks while you've given up. My daughter got me to the folding socks etc philosophy. Did it for four years... it is good. Now a lapsed sock folder. But I have just thanked some clothes and books and passed them on to our local charity shop.

Meant to say. New habit is getting up from my desk, chair every hour and walking at least 250 steps, just back and forth in the house if necessary. No it's not a big house. My FitBit reminds me, with ten minutes to spare, if I haven't moved. My back seized up just before Christmas. And this has evolved from helping it ease off.

Yes I've been using the pomodoro technique, 25mins work, 5 min break. Using the break to peel the potatoes or make a cup of tea. Definitely makes a difference to get up and down for not stiffening up. Glad your back is better 😁

I am still folding my pants years after reading marie k! Fasting is sticking with me too. After reading “highly processed people “ i want to cook from scratch more. I will adopt the phone in the hall method.. make it more difficult to reach for. “The Bear” is excellent and worth watching. A friend recommended‘anatomy of a fall’ film, have you seen it?

Ha ha, you are such a kindred spirit when it comes to life hacks! Anatomy of a Fall looks good, read something that said don't read too much about so didn't! Available to rent on Apple TV from the 22nd Jan. It's probably on the cinema but then it would be in French with Swedish subtitles 🤪

Slow mornings, a big local ramble at least once a week, one totally unscheduled spontaneous day a week (these two might coincide), reading real books in the evenings not a screen. Marking the old seasonal festivals with drumming and chanting etc around the fire in convivial company. Thank you for the tortilla recipe, perfect for Imbolc! Round and yellowish like the returning sun ((:

I want to get back to walking more it's been around minus 10 some days and super icy. But I miss the kind of thinking I do when I walk. I also like the idea of one spontaneous day a week 😁

Thanks, I've downloaded it for my next walk! We also had another 4 or 5 inches of snow last night, beautiful!
